Look at me making big moves one week after coming back from hiatus…
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you may have noticed that I’m a huge comic book nerd. As an example, check out everything I did during MCU March if you want to see the level of comic book research I did for no real reason other than I could. But have you ever thought to yourself that you’d like to see me branch out and talk more in-depth about comic books?
No? Well too bad! Soft launching this week is Chwineka Reads, a sister blog where I’ll be hosting all my comic book posts! I’ll be splitting my time between the two blogs, enjoying a more relaxed schedule here (in part because my work schedule doesn’t really give me time to watch that many movies) with more weekly posts over there (because I can read dozens of comics on the clock and no one can stop me, boo ha ha). This week will be mostly introductory posts, while next week I’ll dive into some old X-Men comics.
The plan at the moment is for updates on Chwineka Reads posts will go through the Chwineka Watches Facebook and Twitter accounts, but they shouldn’t ping your emails if you signed up to be notified about posts that way. If there’s enough interest, I may make their own non-Wordpress pages. It’s all a work in progress, but it’s a chance to gush about comic books, which so far has been super fun. Hope to see you there!
