I feel like, “How’s everybody doing?” is an insufficient question, and a better one is, “Is anybody really okay these days?” 2020 is a fuck of a year and we’re not even into June yet! Big yikes.
Remember back at the beginning of March when I said I was going to do (week)daily updates? And then because coronavirus put my job on indefinite hold I extended it to April, and then to May? Well, the time has come to pull back and return to an update every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This whole project takes up a surprising amount of time, and… It’s like I have a set number of actions I can take each day (although some actions like microwaving some easy food or going fishing are “free”), and I want to use those time blocks for other things. Watch more things just for fun. Have lunch with two of my students to raise the support level of all three of us. You know, stuff like that.
And this has nothing to do with the fact that I’ve recently gone head first into Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Nope, completely unrelated.
So expect fewer posts for the foreseeable future, but with more time to write stuff, I’m hoping the quality will go up slightly. Who knows! See you all tomorrow, thank you so much for your continued support, and stay safe out there.
